One of my first DIY control systems was a veroboard controlling a small robot arm. The arm is a toy with 5 DC motors and no sensors.
This control system is based on ESP32 that provide Wifi, Bluetooth and all the IO pins we need. It is equipped with 12xServo/IO ports at left and 5 1/2 H-Bridge drivers at right. PSU can be 5-12V
The picture above is the plastic robot that can be purchased on ebay. This is a toy, but it is great for fun and eductational purposes.
